New Canaan Crews Battle Brush Fire
A power line fell and landed in dry leaves and brush.
NEW CANAAN, CT- Firefighters in New Canaan were able to contain a brush fire off of Canoe Hill Road Tuesday.
A power line broke and fell into dry leaves and brush, according to the New Canaanite.
A neighbor quickly alerted firefighters around 11:39 a.m.

The fire is being contained until Eversource arrives on scene to cut power to the line. At that point the rest of the fire can be put out.
