New Canaan DUI Checkpoint Nets 4 Narcotic Citations

Police issued four narcotic infractions at a DUI checkpoint held Friday night.

The first infraction was issued shortly before 9 p.m. on Dec. 18 on Old Stamford Road near the Rt. 15 entrance ramp.

A Port Chester, NY man was issued an infraction for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana.

The second infraction was issued to a Stamford woman shortly before 9:30 p.m. for possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana.

Two other infractions were issued, but details weren’t immediately available Monday afternoon.
