New Canaan Elementary Schools Ranked Best in State

Several New Canaan elementary schools ranked among the best in the state, according to Niche.com.

Here are New Canaan’s rankings:

• South School-- No. 1
• East School-- No. 2
• West School-- No. 3

According to Niche, a high ranking indicates that “students are happy with their experiences in all aspects, especially academics, teachers, and diversity,” “the school is an exceptional academic institution in terms of teachers, students, resources for learning, and student outcomes,” and “the school is made up of a diverse population and fosters an accepting, positive school culture.”

The study ranked 40,403 elementary schools across the nation. Read here for a full methodology.
