New Canaan Gas Installation Construction Schedule June 17-21

NEW CANAAN, CT — Eversource is continuing its natural gas project in New Canaan during the week of June 17-21, according to town and Eversource officials.

Below is information on the times and locations where crews will be stationed:

Crews from Burns Construction and Oman Landscaping will continue gas construction activities to install and improve our natural gas distribution system in New Canaan according to the following information:

Lawn Restoration: Eversource and Oman Landscaping will be working directly with specific homeowners to complete final lawn restoration on their private property.

Gas Service Installations: Our construction activities include individual service line preparations and installations. We will be working directly with specific homeowners and providing appointments to complete our work.

What You Can Expect:
• Temporary paving activities will be performed in conjunction with our construction
activities as needed.
• There will be no construction work performed on Sunday.
• Traffic flow will be maintained where possible. Drivers, however, may experience delays
due to alternating one-way traffic and occasional lane closures.
• Construction crews will work daytime hours and in-street construction work may vary
depending on location.
• Access to residences and businesses will be maintained to ensure priority passage of
emergency vehicle traffic through construction areas.
• Construction activities may take place at multiple sites along the route until the project
is complete.
• Work zones will be protected from pedestrians and vehicles.
• Police officers or flagmen will oversee traffic control.
• Please note that construction work is weather dependent. All construction activities are
subject to change without notice.
