New Canaan Has A Town Council Seat To Fill

The vacant seat was formerly held by Ken Campbell, who is moving out of state.

NEW CANAAN, CT — With the recent resignation of Town Councilman Ken Campbell, New Canaan has a seat to fill on the 12-member legislative body, reports the New Canaan Advertiser. Campbell is resigning because he is moving to Nevada; he served on the council for 14 years.

Sometime before the end of January, the council will vote on a new, short-term member to fill the seat, and then the position will be up for election in November.

The council will consider appointing a resident who is new to elected office and who wishes to to serve. To be considered, or to suggest someone for the seat, contact a member of the Town Council.
