New Canaan Home Target of Blight Complaint

Editor’s note: We previously ran this story, but here it is again in case you missed it.

Officials are reviewing a blight complaint lodged against a Lost District Drive residence.

The complaint noted there are 20 or 30 unopened bags of mulch at the home located at 319. Many of them have been there for more than one year, according to the New Canaanite.

The bags are visible from the street.

Under town ordinance homeowners have the duty to maintain the exterior and grounds of premises and keep them free of blight.
