New Canaan HS Hoops Coach Resigns After Heroin Arrest: Report
The accused was arrested over the weekend in Stamford.

NEW CANAAN, CT — Jose Amor, who was arrested over the weekend in Stamford on drug possession charges, was resigned Monday as a basketball coach with the New Canaan High School team, reports the New Canaan Advertiser.
School Athletic Director Jay Egan made the announcement Monday, stressing that Amor had passed a background check before he was hired by the school system.

Amor, who was an assistant coach with the boys' hoops team, reportedly was found with 20 folds of heroin while at a gas station in Stamford.
