New Canaan HS Quarterback Drew Pyne Signs With Notre Dame
He called the move to the renowned university a "dream come true."
NEW CANAAN, CT — Drew Pyne, quarterback for the New Canaan High School Rams football team, signed a letter of intent with the University of Notre Dame on National Signing Day on Wednesday.
Pyne led the Rams to an 8-3 record during the 2019 season, and a shutout win over rival Darien in this year's Turkey Bowl.
According to stats from GameTimeCT, Pyne had a 62 percent completion rate in 2019, throwing for 19 touchdowns against seven interceptions.
