New Canaan League of Women Voters Publish 'Know Your Reps'
A brochure will soon arrive in New Canaan mailboxes labeled "Know Your Representatives" and will offer information regarding voting in 2016.
From the New Canaan League of Women Voters:
April 3, 2016
“Don’t throw it out!” says Janet Davis of New Canaan’s League of Women Voters, referring to the Know Your Representatives brochure that will be arriving soon in every town citizen’s mailbox.
This handy brochure may look a lot like junk mail, but is instead a powerful resource for engaging citizens in the political process, a chief aim of the League. Know Your Reps (held in the photo by First Selectman Rob Mallozzi) lists all representatives of New Canaan on the local, state, and national levels, and also includes local board and commission meeting times and office locations.
