New Canaan Man Arrested After Fleeing Police: PD
The man went through a stop sign without stopping and didn't obey officer's commands to pull over.

NEW CANAAN, CT — A local man turned himself into police after he fled officers during a traffic stop, according to police.
Police attempted to stop a vehicle Nov. 17 that went through a stop sign without stopping at the intersection of Forest Street and Locust Avenue.
The vehicle failed to stop for police and committed several motor vehicle violations, police said.

Police made contact with Cory Lynch, 39, outside of his residence via phone. He refused to speak to officers in person, police said.
He turned himself in Jan. 2 and was charged with interfering with police, traveling unreasonably fast, two counts of failure to obey a stop sign, three counts of failure to signal, failure to drive right, disobeying the signal of an officer, failure to give motor vehicle credentials to an officer and improper parking.
