New Canaan Man Arrested for Failing to Appear in Court
The suspect was wanted by Bridgeport Police and surrendered to Greenwich Police.

A New Canaan man wanted for failing to appear in court surrendered to police on Monday.
An arrest warrant had been obtained by Bridgeport Police charging Dean M. Wayton, 26, of 124 Forest St. with second-degree failure to appear in court.
Wayton showed up at Greenwich Police headquarters about 11 a.m. Monday and surrendered, according to a Greenwich Police report. Neither the police report nor the Connecticut Judicial Branch website indicate what charges Wayton is accuse of failing to answer.

Wayton was released after posting a $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear Aug. 12 in state Superior Court in Bridgeport.
