New Canaan Man Charged with DUI After Fleeing Crash Scene: PD
He fled the scene while officers were present, according to police.

NEW CANAAN, CT—A local man was charged with DUI and was later charged with threatening after being brought to the police station, according to police.
Police responded to an Oct. 6 accident in the area of Park and Cherry streets on a report of a two-car crash.
An officer smelled alcohol on operator Alexander Harley, 23, according to police. He drove away from the accident scene while officers were present.

He was pursued and taken into custody in Mead Park where he failed field sobriety tests, police said.
He submitted to a urine test to determine his BAC.

While being processed he was also charged for interfering with police and second-degree threatening.
Harley is also charged with DUI, improper passing, failure to bring vehicle to a stop and evading responsibility.
