New Canaan Man ID'd As Victim In Fatal Darien Train Crash
He was struck and killed Thursday night, Dec. 13, near the Noroton Heights station.
DARIEN, CT — New Canaan resident John Hickey, 50, has been identified as the person who was killed in last week's fatal train crash near the Noroton Heights station, Aaron Donovan, deputy communications director for Metro-North, announced Monday.
The incident remains under investigation, and Donovan declined to comment further. No other injuries were reported.
Hickey was struck at about 7:45 p.m. in Noroton Heights by the northbound train, the 6:49 p.m. out of Grand Central.
