New Canaan Man Injured in Rhode Island Hit-and-Run Released from Hospital
He sustained broken bones, a concussion and a broken shoulder.

NEW CANAAN, CT—A New Canaan man struck by a vehicle during a Rhode Island hit-and-run was released from the hospital Oct. 8.
Charles Deery, 20, was struck in Cranston, RI Oct. 6, according to the New Canaan Advertiser.
He sustained a concussion along with broken bones and a shoulder. He was filming for a school project at the edge of the roadway and the vehicle that struck him likely has front-end damage.
