New Canaan Package Theft Arrest Made

NEW CANAAN, CT — Police arrested a Norwalk 17-year-old after he stole more than $1,150 worth of items from packages.

Items were stolen from a porch Dec. 8 after a package was delivered via Fed Ex, police said. The package included an iPad and boots.

Evidence was left at the scene and police also got witness statements. They developed the 17-year-old as a suspect.

Police arrested the juvenile Dec. 14 and charged him with fourth-degree larceny, conspiracy and third-degree criminal trespass.
