DWI Arrest
A Carmel, N.Y. man was arrested after he allegedly crashed while intoxicated in New Canaan.
Kevin McCowen, 57, was arrested on an active warrant stemming from the Sept. 20 incident.

McCowen is accused of crashing in the area of Main Street nad White Oak Shade Road around 2:15 a.m.
He was charged with DWI, possession of narcotics, failure to obey a stop sign and failure to drive right.

Marijuana Violation
A Stamford man was issued a misdemeanor summons after he was allegedly found in possession of more than half an ounce of marijuana.
Ryan Munoz, 24, was stopped for a defective marker light on Jan. 2, according to police. The stopping officer smelled marijuana and a subsequent search yielded marijuana and rolling papers.
He was issued a summons at the scene and was charged with possession of more than half an ounce of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to illuminate marker light.
Drug Paraphernalia
A Waterbury man was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after two crack pipes were found in his vehicle, according to police.
An officer conducted a registration check on a vehicle and confirmed it had a suspended registration. The vehicle was stopped and a subsequent search yielded the two pipes, according to police.
Richard Drake, 42, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, operating without insurance and operating without a license.
