New Canaan Police Annual Cops & Robbers Golf Tournament Rescheduled
The annual golf tournament benefitting the New Canaan Police Benevolent Association has been rescheduled from its original September date.
NEW CANAAN, CT — The annual golf tournament benefitting the New Canaan Police Benevolent Association has been rescheduled to Oct. 7, according to police.
The rain or shine event, which will be held at Whitney Farms golf course in Monroe, was originally scheduled to take place Sept. 30.
According to the department's Facebook page, spots in the tournament are still available for golfers. Police are also seeking raffle prize donations and sponsorships for this year's tournament.

The event is open to all participants and not limited to police officers.
Funds raised through the tournament benefit the PBA, which has hosted the event since the 1970's, allowing the association to support retired New Canaan police officers and out of department events.
