New Canaan Police Arrest Two on Credit Card Fraud Charges

The two used illegal credit cards in town, according to police.

NEW CANAAN, CT—Police arrested two New York state residents who illegally used credit cards to purchase items at two New Canaan businesses, according to police.

Geraldy Beraud, 23, of Saint Albans, N.Y. and Aliyah Somerville, 23, of Rosedale, N.Y. turned themselves in Sept. 21 on active arrest warrants.

The two entered businesses in New Canaan on June 9 and used the credit cards, according to police.

They are each charged with larceny, conspiracy and illegal use of a credit card.
