New Canaan Police Make DUI Arrest

A man was found unresponsive in the middle of an intersection, police said.

NEW CANAAN, CT—Police arrested a Stamford man after police found a vehicle parked in an intersection.

Police were dispatched around 5:05 a.m. Sept. 3 to the intersection of Park and Elm streets.

Operator Conor Cunningham, 22, was unresponsive in the driver's seat, police said.

They woke him up and he smelled of alcohol, according to police. He failed a field sobriety test and refused a BAC test.

He was charged with DUI.
