New Canaan Police Make ID Theft Arrest
The arrest is related to a car burglary that occurred last year, police said.

NEW CANAAN, CT- Police arrested a Springfield, Mass. woman after she committed identity theft with credit cards, police said.

Shavonne Cox-Elueuthere, 33, was arrested after she was taken into custody by Hartford Police.
A vehicle on Oenoke Ridge Road was broken into on June 6, 2015 and credit cards were stolen, police said.

Police have been working to arrest suspects during a rash of car burglaries that occurred in summer 2015.
She was charged with second and third-degree identity theft and two counts of illegal use of a credit card.
