A man reports his wallet stolen, vandalism on resident's steps and other reported incidents from police.

Wallet possibly stolen
A New Canaan resident on River Street reported to police on July 16 that he wasn’t sure if his wallet was stolen or missing.
He reported that his wallet could have been taken from the nightstand, but money that was also left on the nightstand was left alone.

There was no forced entry to his residence.
Police continue to investigate.

Man cited for possession of marijuana
A Stamford resident was issued an infraction for possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana after police allegedly found a small amount of the drug during a motor vehicle stop.
The man was traveling on South Avenue July 19 around 5:12 p.m. Police said the vehicle was going faster than the posted speed limit and was missing a front license plate.
Vandalism at Park Street
Someone vandalized the steps to the house at 203 Park Street.
The incident was reported to police on July 14 in the morning. Someone had apparently spray painted “CHA LIE,” in the overnight hours, police said.
Police have no leads and ask anyone who witnessed something to call them.
