New Canaan Police, U.S. Secret Service Agree To Assistance Pact: Report
The Board of Selectmen reviewed the agreement Tuesday.

NEW CANAAN, CT — The United States Secret Service and the town's police department will call on each other for assistance when appropriate under a new agreement between the two organizations, reports the New Canaan News.
The memorandum of agreement between the two was unanimously approved by the Board of Selectmen Tuesday, at the request of the New Canaan Police Department.
According to town officials, the Secret Service has assisted the department primarily on financial investigations, such as counterfeiting and other fraud cases.
