New Canaan Republicans Holding Caucus Tuesday Night
All Republican electors in town can attend and vote for petitioning candidates.

Republicans in town will caucus to determine which candidates will be endorsed for local elections.
The caucus will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium July 21, according to the New Canaan Republican Town Committee.
All registered Republicans in town can attend the caucus and vote.

Endorsements will be made for first selectman, selectman, town treasurer, town clerk, town council, board of education, constables and board of assessment appeals.
First Selectman Robert Mallozzi, Selectman Nicholas Williams, Treasurer Andrew Brooks and Town Clerk Claudia Weber are running unopposed.

There are five petition candidates for the four Town Council positions on the November ballot: Cristina Aguirre-Ross, Kenneth D. Campbell Jr. (incumbent), Stephen J. Karl (incumbent), Christa Kenin and E. Roger Williams (incumbent). Incumbent Republican Tucker Murphy did not seek re-election.
There are six petition candidates for the three Board of Education positions on the November ballot: Thomas G. Cronin, Gene W. Goodman (incumbent), Hazel R. Hobbs (incumbent), Mary Anne Marcella, Maria Naughton and John Patrick Walsh. Incumbent Republican Scott Gress did not seek re-election.
