New Canaan School Calendar in Line with Region
Start dates for 2016-2017 school year and tentative days for 2017-2018.
New Canaan’s school calendar will be in line with six regional education service centers for the 2016-2017 school year.
Guidelines permit five flex days, which New Canaan uses to expand President’s Day weekend into a a full week off, according to the New Canaan Advertiser.
New Canaan is scheduled start school on Sept. 1 and end with a half day on June 16 for 2016-2017.

A tentative calendar for 2017-2018 has school begin Aug. 30 and end June 13 with a half day. That calendar is being considered by the Board of Education.
