The Connecticut High School Coaches Association has released its all-state football teams in each class.
, which reached the state final for the sixth consecutive year, was well represented with five players on the Class L team, four on offense and one on defense.

With girls and boys basketball on break until next week, only two athletic events are tap for New Canaan teams prior to the Christmas holiday.
The wrestling team, which defeating Harding on criteria on Wednesday, is at Norwalk on Thursday (4 p.m.).
Then on Friday, the boys hockey team hosts Greenwich at 5:50 p.m. at the Darien Ice Rink.
The Rams will be looking for their first win of the season as they are coming off a 6-1 loss to archrival Darien on Monday.
