The boys hockey team will try to give veteran coach Bo Hickey an early Christmas president on Friday -- a victory.
Outscored 9-1 in their first two games against Notre Dame of West Haven and Darien, the 0-2 Rams host Greenwich at 5:50 p.m. at the Darien Ice Rink.

New Caanan, which is coming off a 6-1 loss to archrival Darien on Monday, is experiencing some growing pains early in the season. The Rams lost 18 players (through graduation and transfers to private schools) from last year's powerful club that was undefeated until losing to St. Joseph in the Division I state semifinals.
Monday's defeat marked the first time that New Canaan's senior class had lost to the Blue Wave in boys hockey.

Greenwich (1-2) was outscored 11-1 in its first two games before posting a 4-1 win over Greenwich on Wednesday.
