Olivia Hompe had two goals and two assists Saturday as the New girls hockey team posted a 7-3 victory over Wilton.
It was the second win in as many days for the Rams, who defeated Danbury 7-2 on Friday. New Canaan improved to 14-0 overall and 9-0 in the FCIAC.

Corbett Riley also had two goals for New Canaan while Madzie Carroll added a goal and two assists.
Jenny Crandall, Abbey Buckenheimer and Holly Burwick had the other goals for New Canaan, which received 13 saves from Brit Gardella.

Wilton dropped to 3-6 overall and 3-7-1 in the FCIAC.

The New Canaan boys indoor track and field team finished second at the FCIAC Eastern Division championships on Friday at Wilton while the girls placed fourth.
Henson Orser (2:50.88) an Kalan Lysenko (2:52:12) finished first and second for the Rams in the 1,000-meter run. New Canaan also had wins from Isaiah Maisonnette (1:29.76) in the 600-meter run and Alexei Spinu (4:42.36) in the 1,600-meter run.
In field events, New Canaan's Cameron Haines won the pole vault with a jump of 10-06 and Rami Hamdan took the shot put with a toss of 50-02.

The Norwalk girls basketball team snapped a two-game losing streak Friday with a 69-54 victory over New Canaan, which suffered its second straight loss.
Emma Oyomba erupted for 33 points for the Bears, who improved to 9-5 overall and 7-5 in the FCIAC. New Canaan dropped to 8-6 and 6-6.
Erica Cohens scored 11 points and Katie Schmidt added 10 for Norwalk, which broke up a close game in the fourth quarter.
The Bears outscored the Rams 26-17 over the final eight minutes after taking a 43-37 lead into the final quarter. Oyomba had 14 points in the fourth quarter.
New Canaan's Sarah Mannelly dueled Oyomba and was almost as spectacular with 30 points as the Rams held a 28-27 lead at the intermission.
Kelly Armstrong added 13 for New Canaan, which has fallen out of an FCIAC playoff spot. The Rams have dropped to 12th in the standings, one game out of playoff position.
Norwalk is in a four-way tie for seventh with Staples, Stamford and Fairfield Warde.

The Norwalk High School boys basketball team snapped a two-game losing streak Friday with a 61-48 victory over New Canaan, which remains winless in FCIAC play.
Ra'Von Shular scored 16 points and Rasheen Thompson added nine for the Bears, who were coming off losses to Wilton and Trumbull.
Looking to take out some frustrations on a New Canaan team that has won only one game all season, Norwalk opened a 21-14 lead after the first quarter.
The Rams kept it close, however, only trailing 31-22 at the intermission. Norwalk outscored New Canaan 30-27 in the second half.
William Burger had 19 points to lead the Rams, who dropped to 1-11 and 0-10. Nicholas Depuy added 14 for New Canaan.
