New Canaan field hockey player Melanie Sztorc is this week's female winner of the  BlueStreak-Overtime FCIAC Player of the Week award.

Sztorc scored two goals in the Rams’ 6-0 win over Wamogo on Saturday and finished with three goals for the week

Girls soccer

New Canaan 3, Stamford 0 --Lauren Holec, Malloury Hall and Sarah  Mannelly scored for the Rams (8-2-2), who posted their fourth straight win.

Field hockey

New Canaan 1, Ridgefield 0 -- Melanie Sztorc scored the game's only goal in the first half for the Rams (6-4-1-2)
