The New Canaan Sewing Group's member-guest coffee will be on Thurs., Oct. 24 from 9:30 to 10:30 at Lapham Center in New Canaan. If you like to do handcrafts -- sewing knitting, needlepoint, crafts -- we would enjoy meeting you and learning more about your interests. We will describe our membership options including a new category of membership for women who are unable to attend weekly sewing group meetings on a regular basis. The new Affiliate membership is intended for woman who are working or have young children at home. Let us know if you would like to attend the coffee or have any questions at sewinggroup@gmail.com.
