Reach the Beach Relay
A New Canaan contigent of Scott Harrison, Renee Codd, Lisa Taffy, Mike ONeill, Liz Herbert, Joe Von Ehr and Maryn Barrett participated in the Reach the Beach Relay on Friday and Saturday in New Hampshire.
Recognized as the premier relay series in the United States, the 13th annual RTB Relay began Friday at Cannon Mountain in Franconia, N.H.

Relay teams, with a maximum of 12 members, rotated through 36 transition areas as they covered the approximate 200-mile distance of the race in 24 hours. The race concluded at Hampton Beach State Park on Saturday.
More than 450 teams and nearly 5,000 athletes took part in this year's event.
