Rams hold on to No. 3 spot in two of three polls

After opening with a 49-6 win over Bassick, the New Canaan football team held on to the No. 3 spot in the New Haven Register and Connecticut Sportswriters' Alliance media polls

However, the coaches apparently are quite as impressed with the Rams, dropping them two spots to No. 6 in the New London Day poll.
