New Canaan Wins CIAC Class L Indoor Track Title

Patrick Daly won the 1,000 meters with a time of 2:37.03 Friday, helping New Canaan capture the boys team title at the CIAC Class L  indoor track championships in New Haven.

Alexander Farina also finished first in the shotput with a toss 51-03.25 for the Rams, who amassed 67 points -- three better than runner-up Hand.

Naugatuck was third with 42 points, followed by East Lyme (38), Darien (35), Windsor (30), Fairfield Ludlowe (26), Wilton (25), Bulkeley (20) and Bristol Eastern (19).
