New Canaan Woman Arrested After Allegedly Failing To License Dog: Police
The suspect was arrested at her home on Monday morning, Oct. 16.

NEW CANAAN, CT — A 67-year-old New Canaan woman was arrested at her Dans Highway home Monday after she failed to license her dog, police said.
New Canaan police arrested Jane O. Wallace at about 11:30 a.m. on a charge of failure to respond to an infraction in connection with the original incident from March of this year.
"The original charge was from 03/30/17 when [Wallace] when she was issued an infraction for failure to license a dog," wrote police in a statement.

Additional details of the circumstances surrounding the case were not disclosed.
Wallace taken into custody and transported to New Canaan police headquarters Monday. She was released after posting a $250 bond and is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Oct. 26.
