New Crosswalk Safer for New Canaan Pedestrians

A new crosswalk on Old Norwalk Road at Old Kings Highway makes things safer for New Canaan residents.

Accord to an article on NewCanaanite.com, the Police Commission recently unanimously approved the crosswalk near the entrance to Kiwanis Park.

Police Capt. John DiFederico said residents of the area had asked for the crosswalk last year, but work on the Old Norwalk Road sidewalk needed to be completed before approval could be given, NewCanaanite reported.
