No Easy Fix for NCHS Traffic Back-Up
The Police Commission discussed the issue, but it doesn't appear there is an easy fix in sight.

There is no easy fix in sight for traffic back-up that occurs around the start of school at New Canaan High School.
The issue was investigated by police and it’s not a light timing issue, according to the New Canaanite.
Police said the issue is there is a huge influx of traffic for a short period of time that backs up traffic down Farm Road and prevents cars from turning from Old Stamford Road onto Farm.

A large part of the problem is the high school parking lot design, which is designed so students park on the far side to the right of the access road.
