No Soliciting Suggested At New Canaan's 'Pop Up Park'
The annual Pop Up Park is located in downtown New Canaan at the intersection of Elm Street and South Avenue.

NEW CANAAN, CT — Soliciting in New Canaan's downtown Pop Up Park should not be allowed, according to the town's Police Commission.
The New Canaan News reports that the commission wants to ensure that commercial vendors do not end up setting up booths at the downtown attraction to sell goods during the upcoming Young Entrepreneur Fair. The annual Pop Up Park is located at the intersection of Elm Street and South Avenue and runs from mid-July to early September.
Further discussion of the issue is slated for September after the park is taken down for the season, and organizers say that local charitable groups will still be allowed to set up booths there.
