Non-Passenger Train Derailment Causing Metro North Delays
The train derailed in the New Canaan yard and is causing a commuter headache Thursday morning.

NEW CANAAN, CT- A non-passenger train derailment in the New Canaan Yard is causing delays.
Metro-North said in a statement:
New Canaan branch shuttle train service is being provided between Talmadge Hill and Stamford due to the derailment of one car of a non-passenger train in the New Canaan Yard. Customers should expect delays of 20 to 30 minutes and are urged to use main line train service. Please listen for announcements at your station.
