Nowacki Sues New Canaan First Selectman
Nowacki claims that his rights were violated leading up to the 2015 local election where he lost as a petitioning candidate.

NEW CANAAN, CT- Michael Nowacki, who ran an unsuccessful petitioning bid for first selectman last year is suing First Selectman Robert Mallozzi III and his executive assistant with a claim that his constitutional rights were violated.
Nowacki is representing himself and said that his rights were violated when Mallozzi didn't participate in a debate before the election, according to the New Canaan Advertiser.
Mallozzi said he wouldn't give Nowacki a forum or associate with him by participating in a debate and said he didn't think his rants and ravings deserved a forum.

He also claims that the two didn't respond to requests for him to use Town Hall as a meeting space for televised forums. Nowacki also claimed in the suit that Mallozzi violated his fourth amendment rights when he gave a State of the Town address at a League of Women voters event.
The suit was filed in U.S. District Court.
