PD: Cocaine Found at Underage New Canaan Party
A New Canaan teen was charged with possession of cocaine after it along with alcohol and marijuana were found at party, police said.
A 19-year-old New Canaan resident was arrested after police investigated a New Year’s Eve party that was held on Wellesley Drive.
Police found a group of youths on the property near a large amount of alcoholic beverages, marijuana and cocaine, said Police Chief Leon Krolikowski.
Carson Armstrong, 19, of Valley Road was charged with possession of narcotics (cocaine) and interfering with a police officer.
Additional arrests and invitations to New Canaan’s youth diversionary program may be made as the investigation continues, Krolikowski said.
“The New Canaan Police Department is serious about reducing the availability of alcohol and narcotics to our Town’s youth,” he said.
