PD: Intoxicated Man Charged for Trespassing in New Canaan Home
The man said he was trying to find his vehicle.

An allegedly intoxicated Bridgeport man was arrested after he was found trespassing in a resident’s home, according to police.
Police got a call shortly after 6 p.m. on Jan. 4 regarding a suspicious male inside a home. The resident reported seeing a male enter the home through an unlocked kitchen door. The resident confronted the man, identified as Carlos Oliva, 36, and got him to a dining room area.

Oliva ran outside as officers arrived, according to police. He was taken into custody a short time later.
Oliva said he was at a nearby restaurant/bar earlier in the night and was attempting to locate his vehicle. He said he entered the home for assistance to locate it.

He was charged with simple trespass.
