An officer observed a vehicle traveling through Waveny Park without a front license plate on August 5. He could smell marijuana as he approached the operator, police said.
The operator said that he had marijuana in an open center console. He was taken out of the vehicle and K-9 Apollo helped search.

K-9 Apollo found a marijuana cigarette in the center console along with a bag wrapped in a pillow case underneath the front seat. Paraphernalia was also found.
The Norwalk man was charged with possession of marijuana over an ounce, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession with intent to sell and possession within 1,500 feet of a school.

K-9 Apollo helped New Canaan Police find drugs in a vehicle.
Police pulled over a vehicle traveling south on New Norwalk Road on August 9 for heavily-tinted windows, police said.
The officer smelled marijuana and the driver appeared nervous. He asked the female operator if there were drugs in the vehicle and she said if there were any they were likely her brother’s or cousin’s because they borrow the vehicle.
K-9 Apollo searched the vehicle and helped find marijuana in the center console and near the front driver’s door.
The driver was issued an infraction for possession of marijuana and a warning for the tints.
