PD: Man Arrested After Random Attack in New Canaan
The man got agitated at a diner, walked out and began assaulting a random nearby person, police said.

A Jamaica, N.Y. man was arrested after he randomly attacked a person after being asked to leave a diner, police said.
Anthony Dickens, 42, was at the New Canaan Diner on Main Street for his usual breakfast on Jan. 11. At times he displayed odd behavior, but never posed serious issues, police said.
He became very agitated and began screaming at waitresses. At least one customer left out of fear. Dickens was told to leave and not return.
He walked out onto Main Street and began shouting obscenities at a worker in the street in front of Gates Restaurant. He then began swinging his fists at the random victim and a fight ensued, police said.
Dickens eventually stopped and returned to work at the Elm Street Train Station where he is a taxi driver.
Police caught up with Dickens and charged with him breach of peace and disorderly conduct. He was released on a promise to appear.
