PD: Man Asked Police if Bag Containing Cocaine Was Found

The man called New Canaan Police to ask if his bag was found. Turns out that bag had cocaine in it, according to police.

A New York City man was arrested after he called police to ask if his duffel bag that contained marijuana and cocaine had been found.

A citizen found the bag on Jan. 1 in the parking lot of the Elm Street train station and turned it in to police. Upon searching it police found marijuana and cocaine, according to police.

David Morgan, 24, called police on Jan. 2 to ask if anyone had found his green duffel bag. Police obtained an arrest warrant.

Morgan turned himself in on Jan. 26. He was charged with possession of narcotics and possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana.
