PD: New Canaan Credit Card Thief Arrested

Police arrested a Hartford woman who allegedly used credit cards stolen out of New Canaan.

Dana Vincent, 39, was allegedly caught on video using stolen credit cards at a Target store in Newington. Police obtained an arrest warrant and she was recently taken into custody by Hartford Police.

The cards were stolen in July and August in the Carter Street area from motor vehicles, police said.

She was charged with illegal use of a credit card, two counts of third-degree identity theft and two counts of conspiracy for third-degree identity theft.

Police continue to investigate the case and additional arrests may be forthcoming.
