PD: New Canaan Man Charged with Evading Responsibility After Crash

A New Canaan man was issued a summons after he went off road and came to rest next to a rock wall.

Police responded Feb. 6 around 1:45 a.m. to the area of Seminary Street. It was reported that a vehicle went off the roadway and came to rest at a rock wall between the rear of a property and a business located on Elm Street.

John Luther, 52, of New Canaan was charged with evading responsibility, driving with an obstructed windshield and failure to driver right. He was released on a $100 bond.
