Playland Nursery School Students Float Their Boat!

Playland Nursery School

The Playland Nursery School Polar Bears learn about buoyancy in their ‘Sink or Float’ Unit. Here teacher Matt Dudics takes the U.S.S. Polar Bear to the Playland pond as students watch on to see that the boat floats!

The Polar Bears made the U.S.S Polar Bear out of styrofoam and other recyclables.

Playland Nursery School is located on 18 beautiful wooded acres. Students utilize the extensive Camp Playland facility, including 4 classrooms, 4 playgrounds, athletic fields, nature trails, a pond for fishing and boating, miniature golf and sleigh riding in the winter.
