Police: Alleged Shoplifter Caught in the Act in New Canaan
A woman allegedly was caught stealing a can of Red Bull from a Mobil station in town.
A New York woman was arrested after she allegedly stole a can of Red Bull energy drink from the Mobil station on South Avenue.
Police were dispatched to the station on June 23 around 3:10 p.m. An employee said a woman in the story was acting suspiciously and concealed something as she walked out of the store.
The woman was found in possession of a can of Red Bull valued at $3.86 and was detained until police arrived.

The woman, identified as Lia Lorusso, 42, of Verplank, NY allegedly admitted to stealing the can and offered to pay. The complainant wanted charges filed and she was charged with sixth-degree larceny.
