Minutes later, an officer stopped the vehicle on Old Stamford Road near Weed Street.
A passenger, Hernandez, stated they were doing charity work and picking up donated property. Upon checking the identification of the three men officers located several fraudulent operators licenses with different names and addresses.

One of the licenses did contain the same name the package had along with the Knapp Lane address. The package contained an Apple iPhone and informational material from Asurion which is a cellular phone insurance company.
[Eleudys] Hernandez, [Jesus] Rivera and [Randolph] Brown were taken into custody and [each] charged with second-degree forgery (six counts), conspiracy to commit fifth-degree larceny and criminal attempt to commit fifth-degree larceny. Hernandez was charged with fifth-degree larceny. They were arraigned in Norwalk Court the same day.
An investigation is ongoing to determine if the three men are involved in other fraudulent activities.
