Reflection of Service in our 2013 Fall run!

Our Group "The Youth Adult Partnership Board" has had an active fall with spreading awareness and holiday spirit! One of the annual events we have every year in the month of October is called "Purple Fridays". This was done every Friday for Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Our goal for our Purple Fridays was to inform our student body of the importance of Domestic Violence Awareness worldwide and in our community. Every Friday thorough out the month we had a table during lunch to inform the student body and help make a pledge "to love others and love ourselves".
Also, another annual event we hosted this year was spreading our holiday spirit to the Waveny Care Center. Every year, our group gathers at the center to carol for the patients and residents at the facility. It brings joy to our group to carol  and see the lifted spirits of the Elderly every year.
We will have many more events into the new year! And we hope to grow more as a group and continue to help our community into 2014.
