Residents Concerned About Locust/Rt. 123 Intersection in New Canaan

Some residents said the traffic control timing could be improved. There is a concern for pedestrian safety.

Some residents have voiced concern about the Locust Avenue and Route 123intersection traffic control signals.

Residents said that motorists often run lights in an area that is becoming increasingly populated by children, according to the New Canaanite.

Any changes that are done to the timing of a traffic light on Route 123 would have to be approved by the state Department of Transportation because it is a state road.
